Dear Neighbor,
Every day in America, lives are cut short by senseless acts of gun violence. Our children are growing up in a world where they regularly see mass shootings on the news and wonder if their school or community might be next. We have to act to create a world free from gun violence.
Since taking office, common sense gun safety legislation has been one of my highest priorities. That is why I would like to invite you to my Virtual Community Forum on Gun Safety. I will be joined by fearless leaders in the fight to end gun violence: Congressman Eric Swalwell, DaVone Boggan of Advance Peace, and Shannon Watts, founder of the grassroots organization Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America.
