Responding to Hate Town Hall

Over the last few years, we have seen a rising trend in hate incidents across the country targeting marginalized groups. When hate rears its ugly head, we have a duty to respond and make sure it has no place in our community. To help facilitate conversations on responding to hate and terror incidents, I am hosting a town hall. The town hall will feature District Attorney Diana Becton, Founder of Antiracist Educators Rosie Reid, and Nancy Appel from the Anti-Defamation League. We will be discussing my current legislative efforts to combat hate, bias, and inequity, as well as resources for building stronger, more inclusive communities.
