For the Assemblymember and many in our community, mental health is a top concern. Many community members report feeling helpless when a friend, colleague, neighbor, or family member appears to be struggling with depression, anxiety or other mental health issues. It is natural to feel unsure about how to best help in these situations. Dr. Nitsa Dimitrakos, PhD, Clinical Director of Discovery Counseling Center, will join us to offer information on what mental health challenges can look like and what we can do as individuals to help our loved ones get the support they need to thrive.
