On June 27, 2019 at the Town Council meeting, Assemblymember Bauer-Kahan shared information on the bills that she has been working on which include nine bills that have made it to the Senate. These bills focus on protecting children, victims of human trafficking, individuals with food allergies, the environment, reducing costs in the criminal justice system, and prioritizing transportation projects and ensuring they are affordable. Assemblymember Bauer-Kahan thanked the Moraga Town Council for their leadership in passing a Firearms Safe Storage Ordinance which served as the model for the bill passed by the Public Safety Committee this past week.
