The start of the school year is upon us and I know community members have many questions about what things will look like as our kids get back in the classroom. To answer those questions and more, I am hosting a virtual Back to School Town Hall this week. The town hall will feature some local guest experts – Alameda County Superintendent of Schools L.K. Monroe, Contra Costa County Superintendent of Schools Lynn Mackey, and Contra Costa County Health Officer Chris Farnitano. This panel of guests will be on to provide local updates and answer your questions.
The Zoom link will be sent the morning of the event to those who RSVP and an archive of the Town Hall will be uploaded to my website and social media. Please send in your questions to Assemblymember.Bauer-Kahan@asssembly.ca.gov ahead of time with the subject line “Back to School Questions”.
