Since 2020, our office has been hosting Virtual Office Hours to provide a chance for community members to connect one-on-one with my staff. We are pleased to announce that we will be hosting an in-person set of office hours next week.

I am hosting an in person workshop for small business owners in the district to connect them to local resources and information. Supporting our small business community is a vital piece of the work we need to do in our COVID-19 recovery efforts.

The moment we have feared is here. The Supreme Court is poised to overturn Roe v. Wade. The Court has abandoned women and their right to control their own bodies. Here in California, we are ready to do whatever it takes to protect abortion care.

Over the last few years, we have seen a rising trend in hate incidents across the country targeting marginalized groups. When hate rears its ugly head, we have a duty to respond and make sure it has no place in our community.
